Growing up in both Chicago and Phoenix, Lee found a passion for filmmaking at a very early age. He went to film school in Scottsdale, AZ but pursued his BA in Film from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He started his filmmaking career working for nonprofit groups in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles where he worked on all kinds of projects from commercials to music videos to documentaries. He’s also worked with many documentary filmmakers including academy award nominated director Kirby Dick. His work has been seen by millions of people on social media as well as all the major news networks. He then moved up to Bellingham, WA to study improv at the Upfront Theater and joined Handcrank Films as an editor
In his free time he runs a machinima and virtual reality YouTube channel called I Can’t Even Productions which has been featured on Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Alternative Press, and Huffington Post.
